Rotary moulding (RM)
- Rotary moulding machine is used to form dough pieces from soft biscuit dough. The soft dough is forced from a reservoir into moulds which are the negative shape of the dough pieces complete with patterns. Rotary moulding has some advantages according to rotary cutting; in rotary moulding process all the dough has a similar history as there is not cutter scrap that has to be re-cycled, the shape of the mould allows a much more intricate pattern outline than cut dough and can give hollow centres to the pieces if required. There can be extraction difficulties if very thin dough pieces are moulded.Technical data
